Triển lãm Mỹ thuật Thiếu nhi Quốc tế Lidice (ICEFA Lidice) được thành lập vào năm 1967 để tưởng nhớ các nạn nhân là trẻ em từ làng Séc Lidice bị bọn phát xít Đức thảm sát, cũng như tất cả các nạn nhân trẻ em khác và những người đã chết trong chiến tranh thế giới lần thứ II. Triển lãm này cũng nhằm thúc đẩy tình hữu nghị và yêu chuộng hòa bình giữa thiếu nhi của các dân tộc, quốc gia trên thế giới. Triển lãm do bộ Văn hóa, bộ Giáo dục - thanh niên và thể thao cùng với bộ Ngoại giao, ủy ban UNESCO của Cộng Hòa Séc phối hợp tổ chức. Đây là triển lãm Mỹ thuật thiếu nhi quốc tế có uy tín hàng đầu của thế giới và là cơ hội cho những em thiếu nhi có năng khiếu nghệ thuật từ 4 đến 16 tuổi trên khắp thế giới đua tài. Một số tác phẩm xuất sắc của các cuộc thi trước đã được đăng trên blog này vào tháng /2011.Cuộc thi LIDICE lần thứ 40 đã đón nhận 26064 tác phẩm của trẻ em từ 67 quốc gia.Chủ đề của cuộc thi năm nay là : nhà hát, múa rối . Ban giám khảo đã chọn và trao 724 giải thưởng là huy chương và bằng danh dự cho các tác giả nước ngoài của C.H Séc. 977 tác phẩm xuất sắc của cuộc thi lần thứ 40 đã được trưng bày triển lãm tại Vácsava vào tháng 5/2012, trong đó, Việt Nam có 5 bức của các em ở Cung Thiếu nhi HN được nhận bằng danh dự. Tôi kinh ngạc và khâm phục tài năng nghệ thuật của các em thiếu nhi quốc tế trong triển lãm này.
